Standing Circle - Standing Circle (LP)

La Sape presents the debut self-titled album from Melbourne ensemble Standing Circle. The record moves through spiritual jazz, jazz-funk and groove, with heavy Afro influences running through the rhythm section: congas, percussion and bass locking into rich African undertones throughout. Standing Circle embraces the impermanence of music, their compositions functioning as a framework for deep collaboration and improvisation.
